  • Baseball Fan First

We’re looking for new fantasy baseball team owners for two new start-up leagues with on-line Auctions on February 17th and 24th. After 26 consecutive seasons we came to an obvious conclusion that the people who do the best, the people that stick when they stumble as we all do, and the people who are and have the most fun, well, they all have one thing in common. They love baseball. They came to fantasy baseball as an extension of being a baseball fan first and foremost, not the other way round. We play for honor and glory, so if they’re looking to get rich in a “money” league they should look elsewhere or find a game of Texas Hold ‘Em. We’re not that kind of League.

  • Are You The Thomas Edison Of Fantasy Baseball?

Have you subconsciously accepted your home Roto League's status quo? Is every season the same experience and yet you expect 2013 will be different when you’re still participating in the same league or against the usual suspects/team owners as before?

  • 10,000 Experiments Before Success

Okay, sure, Edison did try 10,000 different filament materials before he found the right one for the light bulb. His ultimate solution proved to be both wildly effective and cheap. He changed the way people lighted their homes and businesses. Naturally, it won’t take you 10,000 different fantasy leagues to find the right one for you, but Edison had two distinct advantages over the 2013 Baseball Season fantasy players.

  • Edison's First Advantage

First, he had his own team of able, experienced assistants who under Edison’s direction did much of the scud work, but your fantasy team is so personal, you can’t put it in the hands of just anybody, let alone pay them to suffer for you through league ups and downs.

  • Edison's Second Advantage

Second, Edison’s journey was long, think of those ten thousand unsuccessful experiments, but he never lost sight of his progress or more importantly lack of progress toward his ultimate goal. As all practical inventors need to be, he was a bottom-line kind of guy. Are consistent Roto winners any different?

  • You don't lerarn anything when you win, only when you stumble is a learning experience within your grasp

Oh, and by the way, years later when Edison was praised for his invention he explained his success by claiming to know more ways not to do one thing than anyone living.

  • We got the arrows; you get the land.

Over twenty-six consecutive seasons our Founders have already paid that certain Roto price, getting what they didn’t want. The team owner fee in our leagues is only ten bucks, covering the 3rd party stat service provider. We‘ve re-invented the Fantasy filament. Join a start-up league in February.

  • If You Have A Man-Crush, you can keep a player his entire career, provided every 3rd season you pay him like a free agent in the market place.

Player contracts are for 2 seasons, PLUS Topper Rights for a third, so you could keep a player you have man-love for his entire career, if and only if you are willing to include his Topper Rights in your limited Freeze Roster and pay one dollar more than the rest of the league on the subsequent Auction Day.
